db2 Connection port not listening

HI,

I just install my db2 V8 on my AIX server.
I have these setting on services and DBM cfg file.
DB2_db2inst1 60000/tcp
DB2_db2inst1_1 60001/tcp
DB2_db2inst1_2 60002/tcp
DB2_db2inst1_END 60003/tcp
db2c_db2inst1 50000/tcp

DBM CFG: TCP/IP Service name (SVCENAME) = 50000

However when I use netstat command to check if the port is listening on any incoming connection, nothing shows. I mean i do not see the port 50000. What could be the problem?

Have you set DB2COMM registry varaibale to TCPIP

db2set -all

should tell you
