Currently, I have a DB2 command that does a disk to disk backup. The command is 891 characters long. I was curious if there was a limit of the # of characters that can be passed into a DB2 command.

I've looked at the Admin books as well as the CLI books.

Thanks, Bill.

Bill,
I have a feeling that I read somewhere (although absolutely no idea where!) that the limit is 2048 chars. But this could be complete nonsense!

Ok Marc, thanks. Perhaps a call into Toronto is in order.

Bill.
