DB2 Client Migration

Hi everybody,

I got to do Client migration on Solaris box from
DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition version 7.2 to version 8.1

I had installed DB2 COnn EE on the box and stucked at installing fixpack , I don't understand what to be installed from the site.(

at the client column I could see
1.Administration
2.Runtime
3.App. Dev.
Which one should be installed in these three or am i approching wrong please guys guide me in right way.

or do we have any other fix central for db2 connect.

help is appreciated.

you don't need a client fixpak (last column, which you probably tried to pick), you need the regular fixpak for version 8, which is in the 3rd column.
the connect server is included there.
the client in the last column does not include DB2 Connect.

for your information: you need the regular fixpak, when you have only one version of DB2 installed on your box, if you use different versions or fixpak levels (possible option since V8) you need the alternate fixpak.
