db2 and legato and logarchmeth

in DB2 8.2 the log archiving can be done by specifying LOGARCHMETH1/2 to VENDOR:/opt/nsr/lib/libnsrdb2.so
the archive of log should be handled by db2 and legato library
This is NOT supported by LEGATO. Only the userexit is (db2uext2)
Is anyone aware of any support of this feature in the future, or has anyone found a solution to archive logs to disk and tape (legato library tape manager) by use of 1 exit routine ??
Any help/info is welcome
