Hi
I have written quite a chunky sql query to retreive into my spread sheet however I keep getting timeout errors 3 times out of 5. I was wondering if there is some way to control this error.
THanks
Ian

Have you tried something like this ?
Application.ODBCTimeout = lngNumberOfSeconds

Hope This Help, PH.

Erm no I still get the same message in the same amount of time.
It seems like this message is coming from the sql server that I am trying to access.
I was hoping for more of a way to handle the error. rather than changing the timeout counter. Our company is a very heavy db usage and so this might lock up other important process.
