I just started using my enterprise's NTP server for time/date purposes. Question: I always had SDST ON in the CS1K (7.5), programmed to set the time forward in the spring, and back in the fall. If the NTP server handles this now, I'm making the assumption that I should turn SDST off. It's not clear to me in this response from MagnaRGP at the post below.
Or maybe it doesn't matter. If the CS1K sets the time forward in the spring, the NTP should kick it the correct time anyway, right? If anyone knows anything definitive about this, I'd be much obliged. Thanks!

According to the NTP you still implement Daylight Savings Time.

yes, keep the SDST on, also make sure the UTCOFFSET (Where <Time Offset> = +/-hh:mm (+00:00)) is setup in ld 117 as that will mess the time up as well, even if you select the right timezone in Element Manager.
(also co-rez is a bit different as Linux is used for time)

Thanks guys, very helpful. Looks like everything in LD 117 is set up correctly too.
