I haven't seen anyone mention this here. After one of our vendors whose application uses a lot of Java said they had never heard of these changes, I thought I'd post this.
Daylight savings time in the U.S. will start March 11 and end Nov. 4. In the past, DST started the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in October.
Because of these changes, the OS and Java on AIX systems must be at a particular level. Databases also may have to have patches installed.
