Daylight Savings Time question

We finally got NTS (Network Time Server) feature to work on S8700, it's been working perfectly since last November, the system time on S8700 syncs up our network time server exactly.
Here is my question, how will NTS automatically adjust the "spring forward" hour since our older ACM1.3 still has the old DST rule built in (still kicks in the first Sunday of April, not the first Sunday of March)?

It's my understanding that Network Time Servers NEVER deal with Daylight Saving Time issues. The NTS hands out the correct time in comparision to GMT, and does not deal with issues like DST or time zones. My suggestion is to patch CM with the appropriate DST patch.

Thank you for the information!
Our ACM1.3 is too old to patch. My hope is that this time NTS will adjust the time twice, one on the first Sunday of this March when the new DST rule on NTS server kicks in by farcing S8700 time one hour forward, on the first Sunday of April when the old DST rule in S8700 sets one hour forward and then NTS will sync it back.

DST patches were not available to Multivantage 1.3

first available was mv2-221.1 and higher

patch 12514 is for all loads earlier than cm3-642.1 (cm3.1.4) and for the
cm4 release loads cm4-731.2 (cm4.0.1)

patch 14809 is for cm3-642.1 (cm3.1.4) and cm4-731.2 (cm4.0.1)
