Anyone tested oracle 7.3.4 on AIX, or anything else for that matter, against the March Daylight Savings time change??

The conventional wisdom that I glean from Oracle documents on the matter says that the only date/time expressions that are not covered by the operating system's patches/adjustments are Oracle's TIMESTAMP data types.

And as I recall, Oracle 7 did not support the TIMESTAMP datatype.

So, you should be good to go by having your operating-system administrator do what s/he is supposed to do.
