Daylight Savings Time patch/workaround?

One of the resellers we've worked with recently emailed us, suggesting we deselect the "Observe Daylight Saving Time" option under "System Settings | Date and Time" and manually make the change this March.
Hope a more sophisticated solution is in the pipeline.

Turn off "observe day light savings" in the time setting and manually change the time, or upgrade to 6.0.
