Daylight saving time

Im on Aix 4.3.3.10 I though daylight saving was set up but the time didnt change over. I never had this problem before
How can you tell if your system is setup for daylight saving?

It all depends on your time zone:

sapqam:root:/> echo $TZ
CST6CDT

this tells me that we use DST and we're 6-hours off GMT.

[select 'System Environments']
[select 'Change / Show Date and Time']
[select 'Change Time Zone Using System Defined Values']

You'll be prompted to answer yes/no to 'daylight savings time used. If you do, answer "yes".
