Ringing
Qwik scene: Small Hotel, using Legend R6.1, in Hybrid mode.
During Day, Console (x100), + Ext's 101, 200 and 131 are to ring. All these stations are required on a C.O. call, or a room dialing 0.

At night, all the same conditions, EXCEPT the Nite Bell can not ring on or for anything (CO or Room call)

All extensions except the console are analog.
x131 is a loud outside bell only.

I'm thinking It's time for a TKM-6 switch for the Nite bell. Poof, all over.. That's what I would have done in the 1A2 days anyway!

But..., Is there a way to do this simply by using the Day/Night Service button at the console? Prolly so, but I'm feelin a little scatter-brained at the moment.

Well, If you are saying that 131 is set to ring at all times, then NIGHT SERVICE wouldn't control it. It only makes things that DO NOT RING during the day RING AT NIGHT.

That being said.

Perhaps you could use "REVERSE NIGHT SERVICE".

That is, leave the system in NIGHTS with those extensions those extensions that need to ring during the day, in the night service group.

And remove the ringing from all but the console.

That way, only when NIGHT SERVICE is on will all of them ring.

In the morning, turn NIGHT SERVICE on, at night, turn it off.

That may work just fine.

That should work, true. I considered it, but thought I may end up with more mess than I bargained for.. Now that I see it written out ... It's gonna have to be that, or a switch for the Bell. Customer Rules, we'll see!

Thanks for your input...
