Am a newbie tech to Shoretel gear and haven't worked on a system since training 3 years again.....

Have a new client with scenario above in place. The clients desires to be able to manually switch the system between day / night service.

In day mode, external calls goes to hunt group 150 containing all 5 handsets
(x151- x155), which is in place right now.

How to I setup, a night mode (walk out the door, by a press of a button or code selection) to send external callers to a mailbox with a visible indicator, on say x151.

Whats the best way to go about it.

Busy out the hunt group and it will roll to the busy destination.
*18+ hunt group DN. Dial *18150 and you should hear a response that the hunt group has been made busy. Repeat to toggle.
Make sure the permission check box is marked in the class of service for make hunt group busy.

Does this help?
