Hie to you all.

Was wondering how one can change from Night Mode to Day Mode on Mxe 3300 were there is NO Attendant Console.

Help.

You program the feature access code and allow a phone to be able to use Dialled Night Service in their COS.
Then to you use it you would dial, FAC+(0-2)
0=Day
1=Night1
2=Night2
In the later releases (From MCD 5.0 I think) you can also program a Night Service Indicator key so that you can visually tell if you are in Day/Night. Although it doesn't tell you what night you're in until you press the key.

ALso can be scheduled in the newer software.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

sure you can also activate this on older releases (pre MCD6 with the schedule via maintenance commands:-

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE NIGHT1 DAILY <hh:mm:ss>

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE NIGHT1 ON/OFF

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE NIGHT2 DAILY <hh:mm:ss>

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE NIGHT2 ON/OFF

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE DAY DAILY <hh:mm:ss>

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE DAY ON/OFF

PROGRAMMED SERVICE SCHEDULE ON/OFF

PROGRAMMED SERVICE DISPLAY

You can also do it from the maintenance command CP SERVICE DAY, NIGHT1, NIGHT2 & DISPLAY

Thank you all for your helpful responses.

I miss the good ol days when if you wanted scheduled night service you needed to setup a modem on a computer to dail the digits at a set time.

Then again...
