I am wondering if anybody is experiencing the same type of issue we are having. The Day End Processing is taking a considerable amount of time to complete. In tracking this issue we have narrowed it done to when there are no new transactions in OE, PO, or IC that the Day End Keeps on running for a very long period of time. It could take as long 3 Hours to all day beofre it is completed. Hopefully some one has experienced this and have a soloution to help correct this problem. We are using ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.2A and all modules are 5.2A and are on MS SQL.

Sounds like you need to Clear History in OE: Periodic Processing, Clear History. This will clear completed orders, invoice and credit notes up to the date you specify.
Otherwise try a database dump and load (Start, Programs, Accpac, Tools), that can speed things up a bit as well.
