ok guru's i was thinking..you know what i need now?.no idea..well i'm gona tell ya..ok, looking for some static sound..yep you guessed it, for the transition clip..i wan't static sound to play in there..where do we get it?.i have a wav or mp3 converter program (wavelab) but i have no idea how to find that sound..and my computer speakers won't reach in front of the tv to try and record that sound(will try anything once)..so how do we get it..and it needs to be long enough to play through the entire transition..what ya think?.

i would never question your advice on anything there sir(notice the respect for my elders)..that darn file downloaded so quick and saved itself somewhere and i can't find it..but that is what i need..was small though..how will i stretch it through the transition clip..

can't you lengthen it with your 'wavelab' thing, or just put it in two layers(staggered) (to make it too big) and adjust the left/right channels under the sound properties to cut it short.

just tweek the channels under the sound properties (right-click frame with sound in it on main timeline, select sound panel, on sound panel select Edit... and adjust the R/L channels to reduce volume).

ok dave i added the sound..in frame>sound all i did was fade out the wav..take a look at the first two channels and see what ya think..minus the services tween with the shotgun blast i'm gona take that out..i do not like it..but once again i have stared at this computer all night and my head is pounding..i'm off to bed..will check back later to see what you think..also tell me how long to oad for you please..

Good morning folks!
35 secs. to download.
IMHO, sound should fade in, especially since all of your static transitions play very slowly (have you played around with the frame rate?) on my machine.
This was designed as a 2 seconds transition... Actually takes 8 seconds as it now stands! Wonder why?
Are you streaming that sound?

What's with channel 3's loop?

i told you old channel three is not even working yet..i deleted the movie three clip from the library so i guess that is why it's looping..dave 5 minutes to download?.what the ____...i don't understand that..old why is it takling him so long to download that..and will try the fade in..why do you think fade in rather then fade out..

ok old t tried the fade in and it just doesn't work..unfortunatly it closes to abruptly without the fade out..messed with the fps a little but i can only go up about 2-3 fps without loosing the timing on my noise wav..why stream the sound?..tell me what that does..will it make the sound k smaller..and i promise i'm going to do the rest of the buttons tonight on the tv..it's just that i wan't something for the background in those clips besides black..but if i load diferent gifs into each one..how much more k is that going to add..and at daves rate it will take him an hour to download that..sheesh..of to get some grub, and go to the grocery..will be back in a few..
