ok guys i put my blinking lights for the tv and the vcr in mc's 12 frames apart, the tween goes from 0 to 100% alpha.but when i place the clip inside the main movie which is at 12fps the lights are still blinking to fast..what am i missing here..dave said it worked fine for him when he did it..what am i not doing???

and also the movie is two frames long right.so say i create a mc that is say 20 frames long(a tweening banner)..it does not play..but it played fine when the main movie was longer in frames than the clip..once again how do i work around this??

The lenght of the banner(or movie clip) has nothing to do with the lenght of the main movie. Something else is wrong!
Do you a stop action on the frame of your banner?

no old there are no stop actions anywhere in the clip..it is just a 50 frame looping text tween....

here's the link..f2s is working fine over here..this is just the fla that was a hundred frames i cut down to three frames trying to get it to work..the banner clip is inside..it goes where the vcr tape would go..don't worry about the blinking lights ..i will turn them into clips and replace them as soon as you explain to me why this thing is not working..also about the 12 frame tween i posted above? why is the light still blinking fast ..if the f2s is 12 and i have a tween 12 frames long it should blink every second right?
