DavDesign Clock and Text Scroll??

I have downloaded your Text scroll and Clock .fla's (8 and 9 from FAQ section) and would like to use both of them in one movie. Is this possible? I can get the clock to work by taking out the stop action in the Text Scroll script but then cannot scroll upwards.
Any help appreciated.
