2ffat: in answer to your question-scheduler-(which to use)
I'not sure- I would like to try both{write one just to see
what is entailed[never written one] Thanks woodcarver

The scheduler is Windows program. It comes with IE5.x & 6 for NT, I forget what its name is in Win 9x. Your help files should explain how to use it.

The second option is a little more tricky since you are doing the coding. As an overview, in your program you need to drop a timer component, then you start your program and put it to your task bar. You have to create a way for the user to set the start time that the timer component will use. At the appropriate time the timer starts the process.

The former is a easier to do since you don't have to write anything. The second is lot more fun (if you like to write code, that is.) :)

Try the former first just to see if your program will work. Then if you want, try the latter. James P. Cottingham
