Dates in cross tabs/graphs

I have a set of fields in my data source to tell me when the dates of when certain events occur. I would like to plot or crosstab the cumulative counts of when these events occur on a normal calendar timeline. I cannot figure out how to make graph or crosstab to show values based on "on change of a calendar day".

Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty vague, consider posting example data and expected output.

You can use a date as the row or column in the crosstab/graph and change the options o reflect the granularity (monthly, weekly, etc.)

then just drop the date in as the detailed item and select count.
