Dates in Charts

Hi,

I can't remember how to do this and have been searching the site for awhile to no avail.

I data collected sporadically, eg, twice a week on varying days of the week. I want to use the actual dates on the x-axis and Excel is not letting me. How do I change the dates to labels?

I know its something simple but, I can't remember.

Chart Options > Axes > Category (Under Category (X) Axes)
