OK here's my report:

---

Group 1 sorted by [date closed] divided monthly

Group 2 rep

Detail - Listing of closed contracts.

---

Detail is suppressed. I have running totals up to calculate total closures by rep per month and total closures per month. I need to figure out how to calculate the average closures for each rep per month.

i.e. Jan through June (6 months) bob closed 800 contracts I need to know how to dynamically alter the formula to calculate the average closures per rep. I could easily do 800 / 6 in the formula but I would like for CR to adjuster when new parameters are input.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Consider using the Datediff on months function to determine the number of months between, since you already have the count, you'd just replace the /6 with the datediff.

Sorry, I'd post the formula but I don't have Crystal installed here yet. Just check help for datediff, it's straightforward enough.
