On date field [reportdate] set to mm/dd/yyyy, I need to use datepart to return value of mm/yyyy. I don't know where or how to apply function.

Hi,

In the 'ControlSource' property of the textbox where you want this part-date format insert this:

=DatePart("mmyyyy",[ReportDate])

Hope this helps,

(Pls don't post the same question in multiple forums (this is already in MS Access Forms), it wastes time, space and forces me to find all of your entries to repeat the same answer).
Choose one, if wrong - invariably you'll be told where to post it.

Regards,

Darrylle
