DATEPART *Currency Field - not working

Hello:

I want to take the "mm" datepart of a field and multiply that by a currency field to create a calculated in field in a report.

The following is my formula and I get #error on the report when I run it.

=([SumOfBudget])*(DatePart("mm",[Date]))

The foul here is the "mm". The datepart function accepts "m" for month.
