I'm reporting availability based on outage minutes for each day. I subtract the outage minutes from 1440 and divide by 1440 to get the daily availability. If there are no outages, my report retrieves no data for that day. I want my montly chart to display 100% for those days that are outage free. How can I accomplish this? Thank you!!

This is a problem that many face, you don't have data for a period, yet you want to show that period.

The best solution, which is always a part of any Data Warehouse, and should be a part of any reporting system, is to build a periods table which contains every day (might also include numerous attributes, such as holiday, weekend, fiscal year, etc).

Now Left outer that table to your data, and you get all days.
