I have a form with a datevalue picker that comes up with todays date on loading. When I save the form which is attached to an sql data table the date field does not update the table unless I select the datebox prior to saving the form in which case the date is formed. Is there code that can help me with this?

Date value not stored in data base

I would assume there is a selected date property which is where you get the date to save into the database. chances are the date is not selected, which is why the value is not getting passed to the database.
after the page loads set the selected date to today. if you still having problems you will need to step through the code to determine what value you are passing to the ado command object.
