Date Update

I need to set a control in the form to change the date when I add any new registrations or checks in my table. I know I need to do a date/time control and a Me.Date = Now but in where? I can expect anything and everything of myself;
But can only accept or reject what you have to offer!

If you put it on the before update event it will fire as the record saves.

I also have to set certain values to global variables and functions in order to find out if they change and if anyone of these things changes it is a record that was worked on that day and requires a report, envelope, etc. I need to get to my other database and copy and paste! A programmers job....steal as much code as is necessary to make your job easier!! <EG>
