I have a query that makes a report. The users must enter a location id, then the date they want. ie start date 4/9/02
end date 4/10/02. This will give them all information for 4/9/02. It is done like this due to each day having seperate transactions shown by date and time they occured. In the query the criteria is location and date as noted before. The date is: >=[Start Date (mm/dd/yy:] And <=[End Date (mm/dd/yy:]. This works for any day of any month except for the 9th. It comes back blank even though the tables have info for the 9th. I think it has something to do with it going from m/d/yy to m/dd/yy. It doesnt matter if mm/dd/yy or m/d/yy or m/dd/yy is entered. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you just use:

Between [Enter Start Date] And [Enter End Date]

as your criteria? Jim Lunde

We all agree your theory is crazy, but is it crazy enough?

Can you Copy and Paste your query so it can be reviewed.

Is this an Access database?

Thank you both. I tried Between [Enter Start Date] And [Enter End Date] and it returns the whole week. 4/6 to 4/12. No matter how I input the dates. As far as copying the query I cant do that. I have no problems with any other dates just the 9th day of the month. I listed my criteria for the date above. Thanks again.

Have you tried entering 4/9 as both the start date AND the end date when prompted by the parameter boxes? Jim Lunde

I have done 4/9-4/10 4/9-4/9, 04/09-04/10, 4/09-4/10. You get the idea. I tried to take out the range so it was just 4/9. It happend on the 9th day of every month. I have tried some past months and every location returns blanks on the 9th day. The tables have info in them for the 9th day. I didnt design this database so I dont know reason behind the criteria set the way it is. It is a strange thing indeed.

Thanks
