Hi everyone,

I've a problem regarding the Date/Time field in Access 2002 (XP). When I want to create a table i don't get the data type "Date/Time" in the list box of the data types. However "Date" and "Time" are seperately shown in the list. When I select one of those and leave the list box the data type property is blanked out. When I type the data type "Date/Time" in by myself I receive the error that the entered data isn't an item from the listbox.

The strange thing is, if i create a table via the table creation wizard the type "Date/Time" is accepted when I selected for e.g. birthday as sample field.

So i think everything has to do with the values in the listbox of the data types, when the value "Date/Time" would be in it all the problem would be resolved.

I re-installed Office XP twice and removed all entries from the "Office" from the registry and delete also the c:\program files\Micrsoft Office folder.

The pc runs on a W2k proffesional OS with SP4 installed.

I've also discoverd that the problem is user dependend. When I logon with my domain account i got the error. When I log on with my local user account the error doesn't appear anymore.

Hope somebody can help me...

Tnx in advance for all the support !
