Seems that I have a few users in our office who have nothing else to do but complain about the time being off on the phones.

Can the time and date be changed from OTM ? And please refresh my memory as to what LD the change can be made from.

As always many thanks to everyone out there for all your help.

Lou

Does OTM run off a server? If so the time on that is were I'd change. On phone system LD 2.
Stat time and date by entering TTAD

ttad FRI 16 09 2005 08 18 10

To set enter in exactly how it appears without the FRI, the system will know. If you wanted to change time enter this:

stad 16 09 2005 08 17 00 (enter)

If using OTM go thru overlay passthru. LD 2 is the load to make the changes. Use the buttons on the top of the window for help on what command, TTAD will print current settings, STAD DD MM YYYY HH MM SS(day month year hours minutes second) HH uses a 24 hour clock.

The clock will slip or gain. There is a setting to correct for this but can't remember.

I would verify how far out your clock is. Could be the computers in the office are wrong and the PBX is right (or less wrong).

Call an atomic clock (US Naval observatory has one publicly accessible) and find out.

Here is a thread that has a couple of different options for Time Sync. Since you have OTM, the rlogin function would work very well. As I stated in the post, we use it, and we no longer get complaints about the time being off.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.
