Hi all,
I have a bit of a strange one here.

We are using an external service for HR that allows people to make appointment times which sends an appointment to the appropriate HR person. Unfortunately the appointments are an hour out of sync. The Date time stamp is correct in the vcf file, but it still wants to put it an hour ahead.

The other thing is that if an appointment is sent from either internally or externally from an exchange based system it works like a charm. The only issue is with this one service, which is using a custom Linux app to generate the appointment and sendmail to send it.

I have applied the Time zone patch to outlook and still no luck there. I have also checked the Time zone settings on both the PC and server. I have yet to apply the time zone patch to exchange, and I know the business does not want to unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

It is absolutely necessary to apply the time zone patch to Exchange - unless you like having to always compensate for the issues not doing so causes. It's a fairly painless patch to install, and will require no more downtime than it takes to restart the server (or services, I forget which).

When all else fails, read the book!
