Hello all,

I would like to create a report based on finding information between two dates.

How would I go about this.

Instead of viewing all my records in a report, how would I go about setting up a report so that when I clicked on a button in my form the old: enter date from and enter date too boxes came up, and then showing a report with the records between these dates on it.

Any help would be gratefuly appreciated (as always).

Jase.

To look at results build a query with the feilds you want to show, and in the criteria section of the date you want to look at add the following.

=Between [Enter Beginning Date] AND [Enter Ending Date]

then build a report based on this query, and when you open the report it will ask you for the beginning and ending dates and there you go.

You can also use the calendar function to do this, the Northwinds solutions database has an example and instruction on how to do this (called employee sales), I think help tells you how to open the Northwinds database.

Hope this heps
Rob!
