Long time Crystal Reports guru here getting into my first big project with SSRS. SQL 2016 and Report Builder 3.0 if that matters.
I need to restrict a report to a specific date range which is input by the user each time the report is run. In Crystal, I would have simply made this a date range parameter. However I cannot find a way to create a range parameter of any type in SSRS. I had to resort to using 2 parameters, Start Date and End Date, then of course adding them to the filter to restrict the data passed to the report.
The report gives me what I want, but does a range parameter not exist in SSRS? If it does, can someone show me where this is defined?
