I am begining to use CR again. I stopped using it for almost 18 months so I'm trying to remember....

I'm in CR10 using with Raiser's Edge

I am creating a report that would show installments (gift payments) pending for FY08 & FY09. I have fields 'Gift Date' and 'Gift Amount'. How do I create a column where the gift date is between 7/1/07 & 6/30/08 (same for FY09)and only the amount shows up if in that timeframe? I am not interested in seeing the date. Just the amount when it's between the FYs.

Should look like:

Fiscal Year 2008 Fiscal Year 2009
John Doe $100 $0
Jane Doe $0 $100

You can use a formula like {@FY}:

"FY "+totext(year({table.date}+184),0,"")

Insert a crosstab and use this as your column field, use donor as your row field, and amount as your summary field. Place the crosstab in the report header or report footer.

You would need to have a record selection formula that limited dates to a particular range.
