Date question in Access

Okay, I've got this in my report:

Month
Order Code Date total

Monthly Sum



Everything looks to be properly grouped (by order code) and the dates are all in order, too. My problem is that I sometimes have multiple orders on the same day, which is good, but I want the SUM of those orders, not each order individually. What am I overlooking? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
