If i run a report with the dates 20/01/2006 & 26/01/2006 (UK formate) the results generated are correct and also UK format. But if i try to run the report with the dates 02/01/2005 & 09/01/2005 it reports the results from the 1st feb to the 1st Sept 2005 basically converting the prompt to american dates but still desplays results UK format.

Have a look at the date format set in the universe and the one set in the C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Data Access 5.0\ODBC\ODBC.SBO file. The InputDateFormat value for your chosen Server type (ie SQL Server / Oracle etc)should be dd/mm/yyyy - if not, change it...

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
