Date prompts from subreport to main report

I am using Crystal 10 with sQL database.
I have a main report with multiple subreports. 3 of the prompts needed for this report are 3 fields from 3 of the subreports. How do have the report prompt for these 3 prompts(as date). These 3 fields are currently not prompts in the main or subreports.
Name of field in subreport
1. Initial Response
2. Requested Response
3. Concluded

The main report pulls from table1
The 3 subreports all pull from table2. these tables are linked via subreport linking only.

Add a suitable parameter with distinct names for each subreport to each of the subreports and use as required in SR select expert.

Create same parameters and datatypes in Main report.

In SR linking place main report Param in linking window, then in lower left hand recorder use drop down and scroll down to relevant param and link. Repeat for each SR
