Date Prompt Data Type

Hello Everyone,

Dates in the database are Integer data type like 20060531. In Report’s prompt page we decided to use Date Prompts. So there will be a function in Database to convert the Data Prompt’s value into integer. My question is what is data type of the dates that is been passed from Date Prompts.

Why not just add a calculation to query subject which converts integer date column to datetime. Then remove the integer column are re-publish. Date prompts will then be fine

there are many many functions you can use to do this in report studio and framework manager.. lots of possible date manipulations. have you even checked the list of functions?
