Date Picker object

How do you find the difference between two dates? I am using the Microsoft Windows Common Controls 2.6 Date Picker and cannot figure out how to determine the difference between the two dates. Is there an easier way? The program calls for determining the rental rate of a car depending on the number of days it was rented.

Any help/insight/idea is appreciated.
