Hi there,

When you supply date in a macro what would be my format. I had macro where the date was in text, worked all right. I am supplying the date range through my prompt. Now the date is actual date (DateTime), what value I need to supply. Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

When we export report into Formatted Excel, is there any way to keep the heading of the report. I am loosing the heading.

By the way, I am using the 6.0 administrative version of Impromptu.

Regards

Jay

The date is still supplied as a string to the report. I believe the format would be:
YYYYMMDD HH:MM:SS - but don't quote me on the exact format, just copy what your prompt expects to receive.
Without copying the whole report image, Impromptu 6 cannot put the header in the Excel file.

I am what I am based on the decisions I have made.

I have cerated variable from datetime to date. So, I believe, I need to supply the date only.

By the way, does Impromptu version 7.1 capture the heading if you export into excel.

Thank you very very much for your quick reply.

Ok, if your supplying the date only, you still need to supply it as a string. Format YYYY-MM-DD.

Impromptu 7.1 also drops the Header. It does keep the list frame layout the same as the report though.
