Date Parameter In A Compiled Report 1

I Have created a report which when run needs input dates from the user to be used in a select expert formula (which basically reads {OpMgr.STARTDATE} in {?StartDateSel} to {?EndDateSel}) when run in crystal it works fine and asks for the dates, when I compile and run from a .exe although I tick the Refresh data Tick and Not Tick all the other in different combinations I cannot get it to ask me for the dates!!

Any suggestions would be most helpfull

Do you have an older version of CR, like 5 or 6? I seem to remember that there was a bug in the saved data feature so that the switch on the launch window didn't do anything.

Anyway, try saving the report without data and recompiling it. Ken Hamady
