When I use the sendobject to email a query from Access 2003 the recipient is not receiving the send date as the current date. All recipients are receiving the send date of the emails as 12/31/1969.

I assume that you mean you are using SendObjects to send the RESULTS of a query and not the query itself.

Are you ( or your recipients ) using something obscure like a MAC ?

The date you quote suggests you are sending 0 when the systems expects a 1st Jan 1970 dating system ( I THINK MACs are based on 1/1/1970 )

So you have two problems - one you are sending ( or rather THEY are receiving ) zero in the date parameter

and

The date is not 1/1/1900 based anyway.

Try this
In the query SQL string replace the Date field with

Format(dateField,"Medium Date") As FormattedDate

'ope-that-'elps.
