When I enter the date command i get this:

Thu Oct 24 05:49:25 PDT 2002

Can anyone tell me how I change PDT to BST or GMT or to any timezone. I've recently installed solaris and I'm not sure how I came up with PDT from the install but its there and its 8 hours out from what my time is on other boxes. ------------------------------------------
Thanx | your welcome !!

Hi,
Please check /etc/TIMEZONE file. There should be a TZ entry.
TZ=PDT change it to TZ=BST
Ahter change reboot the system.
