Date last modified for field objects, Access 2003

I'm writing a Data Dictionary application, does anyone know of a way to read the date a field was last modified or a column was last updated?

This information does not exist in Access, you must create your own.

I was afraid of that, you can't even get a flag if some data within the column changed?
