I want to 'mask' a date field, so when a user enters the day automatically appears the '/' the same way when s/he enters month the next '/' appears and they just need to enter the numbers and not bothering entring the /.

could any one help?

Hiya,

The way to do this is via vba.

On each trigger of the 'On change' event - you check the number of characters and insert the '/' when there are 2 or 5 characters.
