Date Grouping by Month

I am using crystal reports 2008. I am trying to group all of my records below by Enter Date for the month/yr. I have the following:

acct # desc Enter Dt Post Dt
4001145224 EOT Property Tax 12/8/09 12/8/09
4001145224 Payoff 12/2/09 12/3/09
4001128704 EOT Property Tax 10/9/09 10/9/09
4001128704 Payoff 10/5/09 10/6/09

In design view I have group#1 as account number, group#2 as enter date which are both hidden with the corresponding fields in both footers. I need to have the accounts together for easier reviewing.

The best I can do is to show the Enter Date by Month/yr but it will not group all of the records below it. I will get multiple groups for each month instead of all records under the month of just December let's say.

Hope this makes sense.
Any ideas?

In the group expert, select the date group and make sure it is set up to print on change of month. If you use the group headers for the group names, the corresponding detail records will fall below the month name.
