Date Forumla

I am trying to filter on a statement date field to show account statements that have been run any date during the current month. I would prefer to not have to change the values on the report each month. Does anyone know of a formula that could be used to impliment this?

year(date_field) = year(now()) and month(date_field) = month(now()) should do the trick. You can use today() instead of now() if your database does not support now() function.
