Date Formula for data with date less than today...

I am trying to write a formula for a field where I am only wanting to see data that is less than the current date.

I have tried everything I know of, but all date formulas seem to ask for a number instead of simply registering the current date.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Try Report->Edit selection formula->Record:

{table.date} < currentdate

If the system is prompting you for a number instead of a date, then it might be stored as a number.

Right click the date field and select browse dataa, that will tell you it's type.

Rather than text descriptions, try posting:

Crystal verison
Database/connectivity used
Example dtaa
Expected output
