an old question here .....

My local machine displays the correct date format:

07/01/2005

and on the deployed server it is american format:

1/7/2005

The date on the two IIS servers are coming from the same database.

I have checked all the regional settings, and it is set to UK.

Even the LCID number does not work.

How can I change the date being produced by IIS, as I do not want to chop and change the dates for different deployment servers.

Many Thanks

thank Lothario, but it's when I extract the date from the database.

Looking in the SQL server, it appears in the correct format within the table. It's just when it is displayed from the IIS server.

NickLieb,

I had a similar problem and by changing the servers advanced regional settings to the UK (ie for non-Unicode programs) all the iis dates were fixed.

Cheers
Paul

I've tried changing the advanced regional settings to English(UK) but it didn't solve the problem.

Is there another way of doing it?

As for nicklieb's suggestion, is it applicable to Win2003?
My server runs on Win2003.

Thanks.

The IUSR_ account will be set up for US settings. Somebody posted a registry hack for this somewhere recently.

You could create a new user account with UK settings for the IIS services to run under.
