I have a Front page web that runs ok on our server. I copied the web onto another server - without any problems, and it displays all the database results. However the date fetched from database results is not displaying correctly.

Instead of 31/12/02 I get 12/31/02

The Date in the database is held in the correct format, and both server settings are set to UK / English. The only difference in the servers is the old server is Windows NT and the new one Windows 2000.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure why you should be getting problems changing from NT to 2000, however I've never run webs or databases from NT in the past so I can't help you there. Sorry.

Anyhoo, you're doing database stuff, so I've assumed you're using Active Server Pages so just try adding this to the top of any page that contains dates - just above the <html> tag will do:

Code:
<% Session.LCID = 2057 %>

It ensures all your dates are displayed in UK format. Dates are a problem that everyone has had trouble with in the past, but there are several work arounds.

Hope this is what you're looking and helps you out.

Craig
